Although this isnt' how I make mine this is a simplistic way to get the same effect, and possibly devlope your own effects.

The render used as C4D is part of a render pack by optical for those of you that don't use C4d.

It's a nice tutorial, but the explanation is not very detailed at all. For example, you say you have to radial blur, but don't give any details as to what settings. People may have edited the default if this is what you are implying to use, so that would help.

Other than that, it's pretty nice! Well done.
